About The Dignity Run
Since 2015, the Dignity Run has been both a motorcycle ride that begins at the Bridgewater Eagles and travels through the rolling hills of Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. The past few years, we have switched from an escorted ride, to a Poker Run where riders enjoy the same scenery at their own pace.
Once the ride is over participants return to the Bridgewater Eagles for a party that includes an amazing BBQ sponsored and prepared by the Stage House Tavern (Somerset), beverages and entertainment. There are a variety of vendors selling everything from hot sauce to leather goods, jewelry and more! We host a 50/50, and a Tricky Tray that allows guests to put tickets into the prizes that they want to win, all going back to the charity!
The Dignity Run isn't just for motorcycle riders. All are welcome to attend the party and whether participants ride or not, the cost is $25.
Funds raised at the event go to supplement funding for the individuals with disabilities served through Alternatives, Inc. To learn more about Alternatives, go to www.alternativesinc.org
About The Dignity Run
A GREAT EVENT
The Dignity Run started in 2015 when a handful of Alternatives staff and their families decided to hold the run as a fundraiser to benefit Alternatives and the individuals that the agency serves. From 2016 until now, the the Eagle Riders, with the support of the local chapter of the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) have joined forces with Alternatives to assist them to hold the incredible event that it has become today!
